First round: The body in these first 2 pictures is actually different wood than the ones in round 2. There was a bit of a shop accident of which the below wood was victim, resulting in a new order from the wood supplier. However, Brian Ristola (http://www.ristolainstruments.com/) was able to get the piece of koa that was cut right next to the original, so it looks very similar. The new korina piece (black limba) actually looks nicer, so I have no complaints. In either case, the final product is going to speak for itself. More pics to come, as it should be finished in the next 3 weeks.
